About The Cravings Queen
WARNING: This is not a health food blog. I love butter, cheese and I'm not afraid of too much bacon.
When I was younger, I desperately wanted to be a food critic. As I got older, I developed a true love and appreciation for local restaurants/eateries and want to, instead, support the community. While you won’t find any critical reviews here, I hope this blog serves as a place for you to discover a new restaurant or learn more about the cocktails served at a local bar.
I started this blog in 2016. I was fresh out of college, living in a new city and had zero friends. In an effort to get out and explore the Coastal Virginia area, I went to a food truck event at a local brewery. Since I didn’t know anyone, I sat down with my tacos and did what I do best, I started to write.
Today, The Cravings Queen blog is all about local love. Here, you’ll find posts about places to eat and drink in Charlotte, back home in Baltimore and anywhere I travel. I’ll also recap any events I attend and try to give you the scoop on any before they happen.
I hope my blog posts make you feel like you've pulled up a chair right next to me during my meal. If I make you hungry at least once while you read my work, then I have done my job as a food blogger.
